Are you a motivated Town Planner looking to join a forward-thinking consultancy with real career progression? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded planning and development consultancy in Manchester, known for their collaborative culture and wide-ranging project portfolio across the North West and beyond.

 About the Role:

You’ll play a key role in delivering planning strategies and applications for a diverse mix of residential, commercial, and regeneration projects. This is an ideal opportunity for a Planner with 1–5 years of experience who is looking to broaden their exposure and grow with a company that truly invests in its people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals, and supporting documents
• Advising clients on planning regulations, constraints, and opportunities
• Engaging with local planning authorities, stakeholders, and consultants
• Attending site visits and public consultations
• Supporting senior planners and directors on major schemes

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Town Planning or related discipline (RTPI accredited)
• MRTPI or working towards chartership
• 1–5 years of experience in planning (private or public sector)
• Solid understanding of UK planning policy and legislation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A confident, professional approach with the ability to manage projects independently
