We are seeking a talented and passionate 2D/3D production artist/animator to join our dynamic team at a leading entertainment games company. Our studio offices are located in the beautiful Oxfordshire area, and we offer a hybrid working model - 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.

The Role
We are looking for a creative individual who can transform concepts into visually stunning slot/casino style games for various mobile-first platforms. As a 2D/3D production artist/animator, you will play a crucial role in bringing ideas to life in a production environment. Your responsibilities will include creating high-quality 2D and 3D assets, animations, and effects, collaborating closely with other artists to deliver top-notch gaming experiences.

As part of our creative team, you will work alongside artists, game designers, developers, and testers to produce feature-rich games for both internal platforms and external clients. Your experience in a collaborative setting will be vital in ensuring our games meet the highest standards of quality and artistic vision.

Responsibilities

  • Design and illustrate 2D and 3D elements for slot games, including symbols, backgrounds, user interface design, animations, and effects, based on concepts, storyboards, and sketches.
  • Develop 2D and 3D assets in various styles and genres, such as realistic, cartoon, fantasy, and sci-fi.
  • Optimise 2D and 3D assets for both performance and quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team and other departments to ensure the highest standards of artistic vision and quality are met.
  • Provide constructive feedback and suggestions to enhance game art and design.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the slot game industry.

Requirements

  • A strong portfolio showcasing 2D/3D production artwork, preferably related to slot and casino games.
  • Proficiency in Spine, Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya, Blender, or other relevant software tools.
  • Experience in creating 2D and 3D assets for games, including texturing, lighting, shading, rigging, and animation.
  • Knowledge of game art pipelines and best practises.
  • Familiarity with AI tools that streamline the process of developing slot games.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to handle feedback constructively.
  • A passion for playing and creating slot games.
