Senior Brand Planner (Cause-Led Marketing) – Independent Creative Agency – Central London 

Successful boutique creative agency seeks heavyweight strategist with proven fundraising experience to help lead its not-for-profit business from early 2026.

Renowned specialists in cause-led marketing, this agency’s point of difference is its strength in fully integrated marketing and a winning crossover between fundraising planning and impactful creative.

It has carved a unique position within the sector by creating powerful campaigns for many of the world’s best-loved charities across DRTV, film, print, social, digital and direct mail.

In early 2026, a position will become available for a Senior Brand Planner to help lead the agency’s not-for-profit business.

This role can be either four or five days per week - it's entirely your choice.

The Senior Brand Planner role

Cause-led marketing currently constitutes 70% of this agency’s turnover, with the other 30% devoted to commercial accounts.

The depth of its experience means that the agency is trusted by clients at the most senior levels – and the preservation and advancement of its position in the sector is central to the Senior Brand Planner role.

Reporting to the Director of Planning, you will be...

  • Helping to lead and grow the agency’s specialism in cause-led marketing
  • Delivering general tactical planning across all accounts
  • Demonstrating best-in-class understanding of integrated marketing in the charity sector
  • Using strategic expertise to drive business towards the agency
  • Setting the communication strategy for marketing campaigns
  • Developing strong relationships with senior clients and becoming their trusted impartial confidant
  • Inspiring and nurturing an awareness within the agency of politics, culture, society and consumer trends
  • Proactively developing and inspiring new business and making compelling pitch presentations

Work from home policy

At least one day per week from the agency's Central London offices, the rest of the week from home.

Again, you can also choose to work either a four or five-day week.

Salary

A generous salary depending on experience plus excellent hard and soft benefits.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced, heavyweight strategist with significant Third Sector and brand planning experience.
