We’re looking for a Data Planner with a experience working in CRM and customer profiling. You’ll be passionate about data, adept at simplifying complex data scenarios and capable of translating them into actionable strategies for our client’s CRM focused marketing initiatives.
We’re looking for someone who likes to get involved in the end-to-end data strategy, right from who we target to how effective our marketing efforts have been and on-going optimisation.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with a talented team of data and strategic planners, data scientists and analysts who are passionate about making a positive impact on their clients’ business. We work collaboratively to deliver strong work and you’ll play an influential role in that process.
This is a hybrid role which for us means a mix of working from home and our offices in Farringdon, London.

What’s The Day to Day?
You’ll be working on a CRM and Loyalty account, working with strategy, client services, and data ops to deliver market leading CRM programmes to drive business growth for one of the world’s biggest brands.
Customer journey planning & data strategy
- Create targeting strategies that utilise segmentation and data models, whilst finding opportunities for personalisation and enhancing relevance.
- Collaborate with the strategic planner on development of the customer comms journey, including data capture moments and email triggers.
Data insight, reporting & analytics
- Create insight led reporting that brings together CRM, website analytics, and business outcomes to provide insight led recommendations on what we should do next
- Create measurement frameworks and define metrics that demonstrate progress towards campaign/programme objectives
- Develop and implement test & learn strategies to drive optimisation
Customer Profiling and Mapping
- Work with 3rd party data sources such as Experian to deliver customer profiling projects, used to identify acquisition audiences
- Use mapping tools for regional planning
Lead implementation of CRM Strategy
- Articulate CRM strategy into data briefs that align targeting, contact strategy, and creative elements and manage the briefing process with key stakeholders.
Project management
- Manage multiple projects on different accounts, including setting priorities, timelines, and resource allocation.
Data Governance
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the clients’ database infrastructure, data and Martech stack
- Familiarity with GDPR regulations and their implications regarding lawful bases and permissions in communications throughout the customer experience as well as best practice
Requirements
- Skilled in crafting clear, insightful data briefs that guide campaign development and align stakeholders.
- Experienced in designing robust test-and-learn frameworks to optimise CRM performance and generate actionable insights.
- Comfortable working with analysts and data scientists to interpret results, validate hypotheses, and refine strategies.
