Planning Policy Officer (Delivery)

Temporary for 18 months

Location: Beech Hurst, Andover, Hampshire / Home working

 

 About the role

Our team are preparing a new local plan and coordinating infrastructure and its delivery to meet the challenges ahead. This role offers an opportunity to join a dynamic service and be part of an organisation that embraces our commitment to working with our communities and understanding their priorities.

 The Planning Policy Officer role sits within our Delivery team playing a key role in helping to plan and deliver infrastructure in the borough and build relationships with stakeholders including working with other teams across the organisation. You will also play a key role in contributing to the preparation the Local Plan and identifying the infrastructure requirements for site allocations, helping to shape the kinds of places our residents want to live in, work in and enjoy.

 To thrive in this role, you’ll need to have an organised approach, be self-motivated, analytical and adaptable. We also need someone with strong communication skills, as the position involves direct engagement with residents and stakeholders.
